The real benefit lies in environmental protection. Recycled paper products can be reused and recycled, and they cost less without causing other forms of pollution. Raw materials can be repulped and made into paper again for recycling.
Even if a small number of paper bags are not fully recycled and are discarded in forests, ditches or on roads, they will decompose naturally in a very short time.
Plastic bags, by contrast, can persist for decades or even hundreds of years. Non‑degradable plastic particles can last for hundreds of years and cause serious white pollution, which is extremely harmful to the environment. This pollution is especially visible along the coasts of many coastal cities.
The process of limiting and eventually banning plastics provides a positive boost for both our equipment manufacturing industry and our downstream customers — including those in consumer goods, gifts and packaging.
As countries around the world increasingly attach importance to environmental protection, our industry stands to benefit greatly.
